Say what you want. We will write it down.
A will for New South Wales, made by answering a few short questions out loud. No long forms. A lawyer checks every draft before you sign.
“My sister Jo Smith can be my executor.”
I heard: Jo Smith, your sister. Is that right?
I appoint Jo Smith (my sister) as the executor and trustee of this will.
You speak plainly. The will uses careful words.
Software never invents legal wording. It only fills your names into fixed sentences. In this preview the wording is still waiting for a lawyer to approve it.
“My sister Jo Smith can be my executor. If she cannot, my brother Pat.”
I appoint Jo Smith (my sister) as the executor and trustee of this will. If they are unable or unwilling to act, I appoint Pat Smith (my brother) in their place.
“My watch goes to Tom.”
I give my watch to Tom, if they survive me by 30 days.
“Everything else to my husband Robert. If he has gone before me, to the kids.”
I give the rest of my estate to Robert Callaghan, if they survive me by 30 days. If they do not, I give it to my children (Ava Callaghan and Sam Callaghan) who survive me by 30 days, in equal shares.
You stay in charge
- Every answer is read back.
- You confirm it before it counts, and you can change it later.
- A person reviews the draft.
- Nothing is released to you until a named lawyer has checked it.
- Hard cases go to a lawyer first.
- Businesses, trusts, overseas assets and blended families are flagged, not guessed at.
- Signing is simple.
- You get plain instructions for two independent witnesses present at the same time.
Made to sit alongside care
Many people put off a will because forms are hard, not because they do not care. Spoken Will is made by careplans ai, which builds voice AI for aged care. Residents, families and care teams can offer a will as a conversation, not a form.
Questions
Does a computer write my will?
No. The conversation only collects facts, such as names, family and who gets what. The wording of every clause comes from fixed templates, and the software only fills in your details. The same answers always produce the same will.
Who is it for?
People over 18 who live in New South Wales and find forms hard or tiring, and the families and aged care teams who support them.
What if my situation is complicated?
If you own a business, belong to a family trust, hold assets overseas, have a dependent with a disability, have a blended family, or have super or insurance with a named beneficiary, the draft is marked for a lawyer consult before release.
What happens to my information?
Your answers are sensitive personal information. We collect only what the will needs. If you use the microphone, your browser may send the audio to its own speech service. Phone calls, when they launch, will use an AI service in the United States to turn speech into text, and we will say so in the privacy notice.
Can I talk to a person?
A phone line with a human callback is planned. At any point you will be able to say "person" and ask for a call back.
